After a scholarship to Oglethorpe University first brought Peter to Atlanta from New York, he returned after graduating from Buffalo State University. His degree in Planning & Land Use landed him a job with Fulton County Zoning Department where he enforced the Counties Subdivision & Zoning ordinances. But it was while getting his Masters at GSU in Historic Preservation that he caught the bug for houses.
Shortly thereafter, he obtained his real estate license and found his true love. He gets excited about showing houses because of their uniqueness and how history has guided them through time. As a Virginia Highland resident since 1979, he has been involved with the Virginia Highland Civic Association and the restoration of Orme Park.
In 2008, while showing condos to a client, he found his most recent home. Located in 1010 Midtown, he has one of the few Units that features a large patio overlooking the Midtown skyline. Although he still is active in Virginia Highlands, he has also taken on responsibility in Midtown. He helped guide the Midtown Tour of Homes and even had his new home on the Tour. He has the desire to give back to the community that provides his livelihood. What keeps him so happy in real estate is “the wonderful people that my job has enabled me to meet.”
